April 22 – May 26 in the Pioneer Room
The concept of communication and narratives without words has always been intriguing to Streeter, as has the process of exploring the subconscious through the construction of worlds contained within the confines of the box. This format not only provides the opportunity for her to use rejected, reclaimed materials and intriguing ephemera to create visual fiction, it also allows the use of any number of combinations of media and techniques.
Find your interpretation of the story within each box in this unconventional installation.

May 6 – June 30 in the Gallery
Cat Rocketship paints to explore things and places with hidden ideas - things that don't exist, are masked, aren't easily seen, or contain something secret: abandoned mines and imaginary places; guts and organs; demons and the apocalypse.
Painting allows her to visualize and explore these hidden ideas in a way that she otherwise could not. “I don't write, I don't make films, and I'm not much of a storyteller. My language is visual and paintings are my stories.”
May 29 – June 30 in the Pioneer Room
In 2007 Letitia Kenemer, Fine Art Coordinator, invited MU employees to submit their favorite artwork for inclusion in a group exhibit. The exhibit was such a hit with the ISU community that she is doing it again.
Works might be something from their living room, a piece created by them, a family heirloom, or refrigerator art – as long as it is original and meaningful to the person loaning the artwork.
July 2 – September 8
Pioneer Room closed for upgrades.
